Compensation for Criminal Injuries

SCHEME FOR CRIMINAL INJURIES COMPENSATION AGREEMENTS

Since 1964, victims of violent crime have been able to get Criminal Injuries Compensation via a state-run programme. This government agency compensates victims of violent crimes, and we have successfully worked with the CICA to get compensation for a number of our clients.

Although the Criminal Harm programme has changed throughout the years, considerable compensation may be given for bodily or psychological injuries. Victims of sexual assault and abuse may also be compensated.
